These terms and conditions of use for the Corefolio application and website (jl-apps.xyz) constitute a legal agreement and are entered into by and between you and Jolana Technologies Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," "our"). The following terms and conditions (these "Terms and Conditions") govern your access to and use of, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through the Corefolio application (the "Application") and website (the "Website", and collectively with the Application, the "Platform").
BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING THE APPLICATION, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND AND COMPLY WITH THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are of the legal age of majority under applicable law to form a binding contract with the Company and meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements. If you do not meet all of these requirements, you must not access or use the Platform.
We reserve the right in our sole discretion to revise and update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any and all such modifications are effective immediately upon posting and apply to all access to and continued use of the Platform. You agree to periodically review these Terms and Conditions in order to be aware of any such modifications and your continued use shall be your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
The information and material on the Platform may be changed, withdrawn, or terminated at any time in our sole discretion without notice. We will not be liable if, for any reason, all or any part of the Platform is restricted to users or unavailable at any time or for any period.
The security of your personal information is very important to us. We use physical, electronic, and administrative measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.
The safety and security of your information also depends on you. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored on it. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Platform or your device.
You are prohibited from attempting to circumvent and from violating the security of the Platform, including, without limitation: (a) accessing content and data that is not intended for you; (b) attempting to breach or breaching the security and/or authentication measures which are not authorized; (c) restricting, disrupting, or disabling service to users, hosts, servers, or networks; (d) using any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the Platform for any purpose; (e) introducing any viruses, trojan horses, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful; (f) attacking the Platform via a denial-of-service attack; and (g) otherwise attempting to interfere with the proper working of the Platform.
You understand and agree that the Platform and its entire contents, features, and functionality, including, but not limited to, all information, software, code, data, text, displays, graphics, photographs, images, video, audio, design, presentation, selection, and arrangement, are owned by the Company, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected in all forms by intellectual property laws including, without limitation, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and any other proprietary rights.
The Company name, business names and logos, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, images, and slogans are trademarks of the Company or its affiliates or licensors. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of the Company.
You may only use the Platform for your personal and non-commercial use. You shall not directly or indirectly reproduce, compile for an internal database, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on the Platform, in any form or medium whatsoever except as permitted by these Terms.
THE APPLICATION DISPLAYS FINANCIAL DATA INCLUDING STOCK PRICES, CRYPTOCURRENCY PRICES, AND EXCHANGE RATES FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS INFORMATION IS PROVIDED BY THIRD-PARTY DATA PROVIDERS AND MAY BE DELAYED, INACCURATE, OR INCOMPLETE.
WE ARE NOT FINANCIAL ADVISORS, INVESTMENT ADVISORS, OR SECURITIES BROKERS. THE INFORMATION PROVIDED THROUGH THE APPLICATION SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED INVESTMENT ADVICE, FINANCIAL ADVICE, TRADING ADVICE, OR ANY OTHER SORT OF ADVICE. YOU SHOULD NOT TREAT ANY OF THE APPLICATION'S CONTENT AS SUCH.
WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANY FINANCIAL ASSET SHOULD BE BOUGHT, SOLD, OR HELD BY YOU. DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE AND CONSULT YOUR FINANCIAL ADVISOR BEFORE MAKING ANY INVESTMENT DECISIONS.
The Company does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any financial data displayed in the Application. Stock and cryptocurrency prices may be delayed by 15 minutes or more. Exchange rates may not reflect real-time market conditions. You acknowledge that you use any financial information displayed in the Application at your own risk.
The Application connects to third-party services to provide functionality:
Corefolio is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Alpha Vantage, CoinGecko, or Apple Inc. All third-party trademarks, service marks, and company names are the property of their respective owners.
We make no representations about these third-party services. We have no control over the contents of any such third-party services and accept no responsibility for such services or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them. You are subject to any terms and conditions of such third-party services.
Third-party API services may experience downtime, rate limiting, or discontinuation. We are not responsible for any interruption in service caused by third-party providers.
You own your data. All portfolio data you enter into the Application is stored locally on your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, synchronized through your private iCloud account. We do not have access to your portfolio data, holdings, or financial information.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We recommend using the Application's export feature to create regular backups. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or inability to access your data.
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, ITS CONTENT, AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS FOUND OR ATTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE PLATFORM, ITS CONTENT, AND ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS FOUND OR ATTAINED THROUGH THE PLATFORM ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INVESTMENT LOSSES, TRADING LOSSES, OR FINANCIAL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION DISPLAYED IN THE APPLICATION.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Company, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, and their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, service providers, contractors, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to your breach of these Terms and Conditions or your use of the Platform.
The Platform and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision, principle, or rule and notwithstanding your domicile, residence, or physical location.
Any action or proceeding arising out of or relating to the Platform and under these Terms and Conditions will be instituted in the courts of the Province of Ontario and/or the Federal Court of Canada, and each party irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts in any such action or proceeding.
If any term or provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other term or provision of these Terms and Conditions or invalidate or render unenforceable such term or provision in any other jurisdiction.
The Terms and Conditions constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Jolana Technologies Inc. regarding the Platform and supersedes all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding such subject matter.
The Platform is operated by Jolana Technologies Inc.
